Pizza places in the United States run from a counter with two stools and a stack of boxes to a full sit-down pizzeria with a bar, and most neighborhood shops do all three things at once: dine-in, takeout and delivery. Ordering by phone is still common and often faster than an app, and many independents charge less when you call direct because there is no platform fee. Sizes are usually listed in inches (a small around 10", a large 14", an extra-large 16" or more), and a large feeds two to three adults. Slices are sold from a display case at New York-style counters and reheated to order; whole pies take 15-25 minutes at a busy shop. Most spots take cards and mobile pay, though a few older pizzerias remain cash-only, so check the door or the listing before you order.

Hours are published for 6 days a week. The most common schedule is 11 am–8 pm. Note that it does not open on Sunday. Hours in the United States do change around federal holidays and long weekends, so a quick call before a special trip is sensible. You can reach AJ's Home Cooking at (770) 754-0530; calling is usually the quickest way to ask about availability, prices or directions. More information is available on its website, ajshomecooking.net.

This is an all-you-can-eat buffet that traditionally caters to a retired crowd, but don't let that fool you. The quality of the food is far above what you would expect from comparable places. You'll find classic American comfort dishes and home-style recipes, including items that are rarely seen at buffets, such as succotash and lima beans. The menu rotates daily, the selection is plentiful, and each dish is consistently cooked to perfection. Sometimes you simply want a home-cooked meal without having to cook yourself, and this place fills that need perfectly. The waitstaff and management are exceptionally friendly, with the kind of warm Midwestern hospitality that makes dining here a pleasure. It's a wonderful place to bring the family and enjoy a relaxed meal together. I won't even emphasize the value pricing, because mentioning low prices often lowers expectations. Honestly, even if these same dishes were served at regular restaurant prices, I would still make the drive here despite passing many similar establishments along the way. Give this place a tryβ€”you won't be disappointed.

I had brunch with my friends. When prices are high like these days, it's very cost-effective. Since it's about 30 minutes from home, it's good if you want to eat lightly.

Carolyn our server made this buffet experience a real treat. Check the video out for the selection of food and note that it was all good except for the Lima beans but then again I don’t like Lima beans. The fried chicken was next level crispy, so tender and full of flavor. If you like fried chicken it’d be worth a trip from anywhere in the South! Trust me. It’s all you can eat and boy did I eat. Ice cream and ice tea included it was $15. This is insane!
